After watching a documentary on fast fashion, I am trying to be more mindful of where my clothes come from. The problem is… it is so expensive to get sustainable fashion! I can see why I did not think about this for a while. It will take time to transition to that great length, but I am beginning to open myself to the possibilities of creative ways to wear less fast fashion.
One thing I can think of is maybe thrift shopping to find vintage clothing, as fast fashion boomed a lot in the 1990s. It would be great to get staple pieces from the past; But for now, I decided to try for one month Rent the Runway, Unlimited subscription. I got a one month subscription due to it being discounted.
My first 4 items are below via YouTube, followed by how easy it was to pack it back up and send to a nearby UPS store. I think at the end of the month I will let you know the pros and cons to Rent the Runway.
Which item did you like the most?
Would you try it?
Comment below, check out some shots from the photoshoot, and I’ll see you on the gram.
